This dynamic and growing start up is seeking an experienced accounts assistant. You'll be a pro-active individual with a strong sense of discretion. If you have previous experience in an accounts function in a fast growing business, this would be a fantastic remote and flexible role.

As they continue to grow, they need an experienced, efficient part time accounts assistant to join the team. Working closely with the founders, the senior leadership team, internal stakeholders and the external management accountancy firm to ensure accuracy in reporting and timely processing of financial information.
The Role
Work closely with the partnership team to issue and then track all sales contracts & invoices.
Manage the credit control function of the business – reporting on monies received, working to secure. payments on time and reflagging any concerns.
Keep all internal financial reporting up to date.
Provide financial analysis and reporting for monthly and quarterly board meetings.
Work closely with and prepare all end of ¼ information needed to the management accountants firm.
Prepare all payroll; information needed to be shared with the payroll administrator for execution.
Manage the accounts mailbox answering any customer queries.
Prepare and execute weekly supplier pay runs
Resolve payment questions for external contractors
The Candidate
Have previous experience in a finance / accounts function
Have excellent attention to detail
Take pride in producing high quality, accurate and timely information
Show exemplary verbal and written communication skills
Excellent IT skills and experienced in accountancy practices
Resilient, adapt well to change and challenges
Confident being the first point of contact for the Finance team
Excellent IT skills – including Intermediate level of Excel
Be highly organised, a self starter and quick learner
Be resilient, adapt well to change and challenges
Confidentiality and discretion is a must!
The Terms
£30k-£35k FTE* (dependent on experience)
c20 hours per week working across 4 or 5 days per week.
Working remotely for the majority of the time, with visits to the office near Liverpool Street for quarterly meetings and twice yearly staff events.
25 days holiday (pro-rated) plus Bank Holidays. The company closes between Christmas and New Year and this will come out of your holiday allowance.
A day off on your Birthday.
NEST Pension.
Flexible and remote working.
*Full time equivalent – actual salary will depend on final hours agreed.
