HOURS OF WORK

This is a part-time role covering maternity leave for up to 12 months, working 20 hours per week. We can be flexible as to the working hours and days, so long as days fall within the working week (not weekends) and hours between 9am and 5pm.

ABOUT THE ROLE

The post holder is responsible to the Certification Manager. The purpose of this role is to provide administration support to ensure the efficient and effective administration of SKILLcard related activities and other cross scheme duties as defined by the Manager.

Key Duties

• Personnel assessment, registration, recording, reporting and card production for individuals working in the mechanical sector of the building engineering services industry.
• Preparing, coding and vetting SKILLcard applications to ensure qualifying criteria are met before issuing the SKILLcard
• Quality assurance of all SKILLcard applications prior to card issue
• Telephone call handling for SKILLcard telephone helpdesk
• Maintaining service levels and ISO9001 quality standards
• General administrative duties to be carried out to assist the daily running of the SKILLcard department with the use of Microsoft Outlook, Word and Excel

ABOUT YOU

Qualification, Knowledge & Experience – Essential

• GCSE Grade C or above (or equivalent) in Maths and English
• Good working knowledge of Microsoft Office applications, particularly Excel, Word and Outlook

Qualification, Knowledge & Experience – Desirable

• Intermediate skills in Microsoft Office applications
• Five GCSE’s Grade C or above (or equivalent)
