We're looking for a super-administrator. If you are incredibly organised with great attention to detail, this is a lovely new role working for a progressive and growing accountancy practice. You don't need to have experience gained in an accountancy practice, as full training will be given.

Overview

The client is one of the largest independent chartered accountancy groups in the West of England. They fully support flexible working, open to part remote working and part office based (most roles can be worked 60% in office, 40% remote).

Specific Duties & Responsibilities

You will be responsible for managing the administration within the audit team and providing general support to the team. You don't need to have experience of working in an accountancy practice, as full training will be given. Role will include the following responsibilities:

-Drafting a variety of correspondence for clients and third parties
-Liaising with clients on various aspects of the audit process
-Taking meeting minutes and managing / following up actions
-Diary management, meeting planning
-Setting up and managing files within the audit system
-Booking internal resource for audit planning
-Supporting budget monitoring and billing

Person Specification

-Have a track record of providing first class administration support, preferably supporting multi site teams in a busy environment.
-Have experience of creating new systems and processes for effective work management and team working
-Be a great communicator, able to build relationships at all levels, both inside the organisation and externally
-Be brilliantly organised, a self starter, able to work independently and effectively manage multiple priorities and changing deadlines
-Have a keen eye for detail and a methodical approach to work
-Be able to work confidently with Microsoft Excel and Word

Terms

-This is a permanent, part or full-time position working a minimum of 22.5 hours per week, ideally spread over 4 or 5 days, with the option to work in a hybrid way (typically 3 days in office, 2 at home). If you require other working patterns, please indicate this on your application.
-This client has offices in Somerset and Wiltshire and are open to the candidate working from Bath, Taunton, Trowbridge or Swindon.
-Salary dependent on experience.
