Role and Responsibilities
The Business Analyst is a new role to assist with the growth of We Are Kin. This includes analysing costs and revenue, operational data and helping produce Investment Memos. The candidate needs to be good at analysing numbers and enjoy/understand financial modelling in a fast growing business.

This is a part time role (approx. 2 days a week) and would be ideally suited to someone who has worked in a business analysis or finance team. As the business grows there is potential for this role to grow. The role will involve working directly with the co-founders.

Key Areas of Focus
• Improve the profitability of the business
• Ability to analyse rents in order to optimise income – i.e. when best to launch, pricing levels, etc
• Analyse cost and operational data, identify ways to improve financial and business efficiency
• Ability to write and understand Investment Memos
• Able to create financial models in excel
• Analyse patterns & trends – across cities, by property size, etc

Required Skills & Experience
We are seeking a candidate with:

• Strong analytical skill set
• Financial acumen
• Good at financial modelling
• Experience of working in the real estate sector would be an advantage
• Discretion and confidentiality

It goes without saying that our Business Analyst will have meticulous attention to detail and exemplary financial, organisational, and customer service skills. In addition, the following attributes are required:
• A dynamic and motivated individual
• Excellent verbal and written English language skills
• Demonstrable attention to detail and accuracy
• Strong communication and presentation skills
• Comprehensive PC skills, particularly Microsoft Excel, Word, PowerPoint, etc
• An ability to assimilate and retain detailed information
• A positive attitude: a diligent multitasker able to prioritise and excel under pressure
