Content Marketing Executive, Solicitors, 18 hrs/wk, Kettering, £32k-36k FTE* (DoE)

The Role
As the Marketing Content Executive, you’ll play a pivotal role in shaping the firm’s content strategy to support its extensive web presence. You’ll craft clear, engaging, and legally compliant content that resonates with a variety of audiences. Whether it’s blog posts, website copy, guides, case studies, or marketing materials, your work will help communicate their expertise in both private client and commercial services.
You will:
– Simplify the complex: Translate legal concepts into accessible, engaging content.
– Stay ahead of the game: Monitor legal developments and external influences (like “the budget”) to produce timely and relevant content.
– Collaborate and create: Work closely with Heads of Team, Partners, Solicitors, and the Marketing team to align content with broader campaigns.
– Embrace creativity: Use your flair for storytelling to craft compelling narratives that resonate with diverse audiences.
The Candidate
To be successful in this role you’ll be:
– Have a knowledge and awareness of legal matters or a legal background
– Possesses exceptional writing skills with a strong grasp of grammar, style, and has the creative flair and ability to craft engaging content.
– Is skilled in research to ensure content is accurate and credible.
– Has a basic understanding of SEO (training can be provided).
– Is proactive, curious, and eager to stay informed about legal trends.
Terms
18 hours per week, this could be 2.5 days or spread across 4 or 5 days.
The role is based in the Kettering office however they offer a hybrid working policy. They operate a policy of “in the office more than not” and also ask that during probation (6 months) that employees are fully office based.
You will be required to travel to other offices from time to time.

£32k-£36k FTE* (Dependent on Experience), pro-rated to £16k-£18k actual for 18 hours.
23 days holiday FTE (please note that 3 of these are generally allocated between Christmas and New Year owing to office closure). The holiday entitlement increases by one day each year over 5 years to a total of 28 days
