Our Tring based client is looking for a new member of the team on either a part (32.5 hours per week) or full time (40 hours per week) basis, working in their friendly office.

Our client specialises in a wide range of waste collections and recycling services for both domestic and commercial customers including wheelie bins recycling, house clearances and skip hire. Excellent quality of service is at the heart of their business.

Responsibilities

As the Customer Service and Sales advisor your primary objective will be to deliver customer service to customers and drive sales within an existing account base and service incoming calls. This will be done by using various methods that will allow you to forge excellent working relationships with your client base. You will be seen as a product, site, and people expert and use this as a reference point for customers wishing to continue to use the company in the future.

Handle inbound calls from existing and new customers to explain the service
Dealing with incoming leads and developing the lead to an account customer
Build effective working relationships with a given client base to enable a smooth transition from a new business to an account-managed service
Have a complete understanding of the products and services to satisfy all customers’ needs and questions
Work with finance to follow up on bad debt and payment enquiries
Identify opportunities within the client base for further sales of unseen/ tried products
Liaise closely with the Customer Service & Development teams to ensure continued world-class user experience
Liaising with truck teams and help to manage their schedules to increase performance
Document sales trends and customer/prospect feedback and report back to management.
Research opportunities and competition
Support additional projects to improve overall sales team results
Identify and predict issues before the client brings them to us, which could prevent them from rebooking

Requirements

Fluency in English and strong communication skills required
Strong inbound sales advice and customer service experience is essential
Excellent negotiation skills
Strive to meet or exceed all published standards
Enjoy working to daily, weekly and monthly targets while maintaining a positive attitude
Creative approach to problem-solving
Demonstrate a desire to make decisions, take ownership and make judgment calls
Strong sense of confidentiality and professionalism
Self motivated, good team player
Technically adept, with experience using CRM applications

Terms

Full-time, Monday – Friday 8am – 5pm – or will consider Part-time, Monday – Friday 9.30am – 4pm.
Office based in Tring. There may be the opportunity to work remotely from time to time once the candidate has passed their probation period.
£20,000 – £23,000 FTE plus commission of up to £1,000 per month
23 days holiday (plus 8 Bank Holidays), this increases 1 day per year for up to a further 5 years.
