Overview

Our client is a dedicated real estate investment manager focused on the European markets. They specialise in investment through both equity and debt strategies. Since its formation in 1995, they have collectively raised thirteen real estate funds and committed to over 150 transactions totalling more than €12.7 billion across 21 European countries.

The Role

To glean information from various sources to maintain data for the Asset & Portfolio management team; gathering, organising, and interpreting statistical information based on the data in the database.

Key Responsibilities:

Own, maintain and manage all property database inputs.
Glean data from various reporting sources and collate into the relevant databases.
Take responsibility for data management on the Property Systems including ensuring data is kept up-to-date, removing any data no longer relevant and any updates accordingly.
Ensure database access is maintained for all staff, updating new joiners and removing leavers.
Work collaboratively with the Asset & Portfolio Management team to collect data and update the Property Systems databases.
Any other ad-hoc tasks that may be required.

The Candidate

The successful candidate will have:

Advanced skills in Excel;
Previous experience as a data administrator or analyst;
Graduate of iLevel university is useful but not essential;
Have excellent interpersonal and effective communication skills;
High attention to detail with consistency;
Ability to work autonomously;
Strong organisational skills with the ability to prioritise tasks;
Team player with an aptitude to complete tasks under pressure and self-motivated;
Must be able to handle sensitive data with care and strict confidence;
Positive attitude and strong work ethic;

Salary and Benefits

Salary c£30k FTE* (dependent on experience).
25 days pro-rata, PLUS the company closes from lunchtime on Christmas Eve and reopens in the New Year. In non-covid times, it’s a sociable environment with treats in the kitchen area and events on the terrace (in the office).
Results driven environment with flexible working practices to meet personal needs.
Standard working day, 9am to 5:30pm with shorter working Fridays (finish at 1.30pm June to August).
Discretionary bonus – payable March following December year end.
Contributory Pension – 5% employee and 3% employer based upon total earnings (base and bonus).

Hours and location

Minimum 22.5 hours per week, these may be worked partly in the office (London – Chelsea) and partly remote.
