We’re looking for a very strong finance administrator to join a growing recruitment and consulting business in Tunbridge Wells. If you have exceptional attention to detail and are able to juggle multiple tasks, this would be an ideal part-time role in an exciting growing business.


Our client is an international leader in providing the best of the best contractors and temps to customers’ for their technology projects, IT departments and business transformation programmes. They are specialists in SAP and banking recruitment and consulting. The majority of their business is completed in Europe. With six consecutive years of double-digit growth and having doubled turnover in the past three years, they are scaling up fast (but sustainably). As a result of this growth, they have created a new role to support the finance and contracts managers.
The Role

The administrator will provide cover and support to the Finance & Contracts Managers: Duties include:


-Assist the Finance Manager with monthly invoicing (inbound and outbound) including checking timesheets and Purchase Orders and raising invoices.
-Liaison with contractors regarding:
Invoicing instructions
Payment schedules, queries, etc.
Manual and repetitive transactional invoicing
-Assisting the Finance Manager with recording financial data such as new deals, perm placements, extensions.

Contracts and Data

Assisting the Contracts Manager with:
-Compliance checks and reference requests on candidates.
-Drafting contracts and logging
-Sending contracts to contractors and clients via AdobeSign.
-Logging status of contracts and chasing for signatures.
-Filing contracts and other documents electronically.
-Check contractors list on regular basis and update with new contractors and take off those finished.
-Chasing clients for Purchase Orders and logging for use when invoicing.

Required Skills:

The ideal candidate will have:

-High level of accuracy with outstanding attention to detail and communication skills
-Excellent multi-tasking and organisational skills
-Experience in finance administration
-Exposure to foreign currency
-Excellent Excel and Word skills essential
-Experience using accounting software beneficial (they currently use Sage 50 but others considered)


-c24 hours per week. Example working patterns: Mon-Thurs 9.30-4pm (24 working hours/30 mins for lunch), Mon-Thurs 9.30-2.30pm (20 hours (no lunch break)), Mon-Fri 9.30-2.30pm (25 hours (no lunch break).
-The role is office based in Tunbridge Wells.
-Salary c£26,325 FTE (a standard working week is 37.5 hours)
-Holiday 18 days including bank holiday (28 days holiday including bank holidays (pro rata))

-Annual bonus based on company performance.

*Full time equivalent – actual salary will depend on final hours agreed.
