HEAD OF GROWTH – (Long Term / Part-Time / Remote)


As part of I-COM’s strategic development plan, we are seeking a Head of Growth to join our team and take on the responsibility for new business strategies and growth opportunities.

I-COM is a Global sector association helping its members to achieve competitive advantage in Smart Data Marketing, the art of creatively leveraging value from Data to create competitive advantage in products, user experience and promotion. We organise forums & competitions that showcase meaningful innovation, work toward consensus on best practices and support overall Business Transformation. I-COM was founded in 2004, a spin-off of a P&G led industry initiative.


The Head of Growth’s role will be to work, develop, review and implement new business strategies, optimising the sales funnel and converting new business leads to members.

You will be the main point of contact for new business and be responsible for ensuring that each prospect is informed of possible avenues of participation within I-COM’s offering, that best align to their key objectives.

The role will include acquiring more business acumen through research and analysis of industry trends and development, opportunity growth online and offline, researching potential members  and writing proposals on behalf of the Vice Chairs and Chairman. As well as supporting the Vice Chairs and Chairman in their efforts to sign new member accounts, you will work closely with a number of key stakeholders including the sales leadership team, account management team, marketing team, and project managers.

The successful candidate should have a detail orientated mindset, the ability to nurture and grow relationships, a keen understanding and implementation of business processes.


20-25 hours per week, long term, remote working. In the lead up to the I-COM Global Summit (Onsite WIP for 2022, typically Jan – March), average weekly hours can extend to 35-40 per week.

Hours must have some cross over with Central European Time to allow for coordination with a mostly European team.



The person will be reporting into the Chairman.




Develop, review, and implement new business strategies

Streamline, optimise and manage the sales processes and relevant team members

Manage communication flow to prospects, lead in new business calls

Compile pre-call preparation on potential member accounts for Vice Chairs and Chairman

Write proposals and emails for the Vice Chairs and Chairman, and assist with managing the leads through to completion

Work alongside the Chairman to develop new growth opportunities within the business

Manage internal communications regarding prospects, members, sponsors including on-going data input into I-COM templates (including but not limited to Google, iCloud, Asana)

Liaise across departments, in particular marketing and project management

Industry and prospect research


Impeccable written and spoken English skills.

Experience working in Advertising Agency as key account/ Account management with exposure to marketing.

Experience working in large holdings like WPP, Ominicom, Publicis, Interpublic and Dentsu

Experience and understanding of Advertising Industry / Data & Measurement space

High energy ‘can do’ attitude.

Attention to detail.

Process oriented.

Ability to drive sales cycles forward, working closely with our Vice Chair’s, with internal and external stakeholders.
