Overview of the role

Our ability to attract and mobilise talent is fundamental for our growth plans, therefore, we are looking to recruit a market leading resource specialist to lead on our resourcing capabilities. We’ve built a market leading network of permanent and associate consultants and now need to formulate how we best engage and manage that network as well as developing an effective engagement model to ensure our associates feel fully integrated in the Smartco team. You will oversee a small, highly experienced resource management team and be responsible for all elements of our resourcing and recruitment activity as well as supporting a range of client initiatives.

Key Responsibilities

  • Working as a key part of our leadership team to understand the short and medium term resourcing needs of the business
  • Leading, developing and supporting a small team of highly experienced resource managers
  • Responsible for the successful identification and mobilisation of the skills needed to deliver our projects
  • Implementing new process, technology and systems to support our growth
  • Implementing an appropriate reporting mechanism to manage delivery and utilisation
  • Overseeing all compliance and contractual matters for sub-contractors / Associates
  • Overseeing successful onboarding / mobilisation onto client projects
  • Identifying third party suppliers that can support our needs where appropriate
  • Designing and managing an agreed recruitment strategy to build our permanent team, within technology consulting, delivery, sales and operations
  • Overseeing a good candidate experience for people interested in SmartCo
  • Ensuring service contracts / SOW’s are in place
  • Supporting client leaders with insight into resourcing
  • Supporting bids, tenders and proposals from a strategic resourcing POV
  • Supporting the sales leadership with market intelligence and leads
  • Supporting client presentations and management for all strategic resourcing activity

Skills & Characteristics

  • Strong understanding of technology resourcing
  • Experience in the attraction and mobilisation of both permanent and associate consultants
  • Demonstrate a good understanding of delivering resources within service / SOW contracts and desirable fixed prices commercial engagements
  • Proven ability to build strong relationships and maintain a trusted network of Associates
  • A dedicated approach to SmartCo’s drive for a Diverse & Inclusive resourcing agenda
  • Ability to use social media to attract a diverse network of Associates
  • A natural leader with the ability to build rapport with the team
  • A team player with a commitment to personal and professional development
  • High levels of honesty and integrity

Work Schedule

  • Full Time
  • Remote role with access to the London office: 10 York Road, London SE1 7ND
