This is a fantastic opportunity to join an award-winning, fast-growing consultancy, working remotely with Founders of Seed to Series A invested companies to help them generate predictable revenue. In the next five years, they want to create £1 billion of revenue growth at b2b tech companies.


After growing the company an average of 100% per year for the last three years, it's time for the Founder to move into a different role and hire a Head of Sales who is even better and who can dedicate their sole attention to growing the business and winning new clients.

The Role

Key activities include:

Sales activities

Reviewing marketing activities and providing guidance and recommendations on how to increase lead volume.
Holding discovery sessions with new prospects to qualify needs, budget, decision makers and timelines.
Presenting the solution and a compelling offer to new prospects.
Negotiating and agreeing contractual terms and start dates.
Identify upsell and cross-sell opportunities within clients, including partner introductions.

Delivery activities

Kick off client strategic reviews with the help of the Head of Marketing and Head of Client Success.
Co-create a RevOps problem heatmap that diagnoses issues and provides a prioritised plan of improvement.
Ensure smooth handover to RevOps Manager for retained delivery with the assistance of the management team.

They are looking for a Head of Sales that can accomplish the following in their first year:

Sign at least 5 new clients within the Seed to Series A niche
Close 5 new clients on a new offering of ‘RevOps On Demand’ service for Series B+ clients
Perform 5 strategic reviews and discoveries with Series B+ clients.

The Candidate

You will be an experienced Sales professional who has worked in an agency or professional services company before.
Experienced and content with being the only salesperson in the company, and a proven track record of growing sales in a smaller company environment.
Can evidence working within b2b technology.
Comfortable working in a state of uncertainty and without huge resources.
Excellent listener and communicator.
Impressive presentation skills.
Adept negotiator for complex deals and project extensions.
Skilled networker and relationship builder with partners and prospects.
Strong forecasting skills.
Exemplary written and verbal communication skills.
Detail orientated and a methodical planner.

The role is seeking circa 20 hrs/wk but more hours will be considered.
Competitive salary – up to £70k fte basic depending on experience (plus commission).
Remote based role with occasional meetings (usually London) as necessary.
