Our client is a Hospice Charity who are committed to funding over £1m a year to provide high quality hospice care for people living in Buckinghamshire and its borders.

They are currently seeking an Individual Giving Manager to join their small, friendly and vibrant team.

The Role

Reporting to the Head of Fundraising, the Individual Giving Manager will develop and deliver marketing plans and strategies to increase the number of people donating to the charity, both digitally and in response to direct mail campaigns. A key aim of the role is to recruit, motivate and retain individuals to become long term supporters of the charity. Key responsibilities are:

Individual Giving

Responsibility for setting and hitting targets within the IG budget
Supporting the Head of Fundraising to develop the ongoing strategy for IG
Responsibility for the day-to-day execution and timely progress of direct marketing campaigns including planning, creative development, data selection, briefing, analysis and reporting.
Development of the charity’s Appeals and Regular Giving programmes.
Maximise Gift Aid opportunities
Ensure continuous testing and learnings to develop the individual giving fundraising strategy.
Support the development of supporter journeys for all individual donors and supporters including lapsed supporters.
Maintain records of interaction with supporters on database.

Database

To be in-house champion for the Donorfy database.
Extract data from the database and provide reporting, data analysis from a range of sources to support the wider team when necessary.
Work with external agencies and the wider team to ensure the smooth transition of data to and from the database.

The Candidate

You’ll be a passionate marketer able to plan and implement activity working with the fundraising team. Ideally, you’ll have:

Experience in Individual Giving fundraising or Direct to Consumer marketing
Experience in using a professional work-related database or CRM solution
Proven ability to understand and analyse data
Excellent organisational skills
Exceptional communications skills both verbal and written

Terms

This role is offered on a permanent part time basis seeking a 24 hrs/wk that can be worked flexibly across different days.
A salary of up to £32k fte is on offer depending on experience (£19.2k actual for 24 hrs).
The role is hybrid based at the charity’s HQ in Aylesbury (free onsite parking) and remotely.
