This interior design company based in High Wycombe offers a comprehensive range of services, including workspace planning, design and build, project management, sustainability and facilities management. With more than 50 years of collective experience under their belts they have the end-to-end capabilities needed to complete any scale fit-outs or refurbishments to the highest possible standards.
They are looking for a creative, positive, self-motivated Workplace Interior Designer to undertake a variety of space planning / designing projects for their expanding company.
The successful candidate will deal with design from conceptual development and liaising with the design team to managing and executing the design.
Main Responsibilities include:
-Work on all stages of project design. You will be expected to interpret and implement a creative vision, designing unique places for clients to work in.
-Liaise with clients and contractors on projects before, during and after installations (delivering complete continuity of service).
-Work collaboratively to build and develop long term professional relationships with clients, suppliers and colleagues.
-You will take briefs, complete test fitting exercises, complete the conceptual design, schematic design and design development.
-Work with construction documents where required.
-Efficiently deal with suppliers, clients and internal contacts.
-Manage relationships with contractors and suppliers to ensure that high service levels are delivered.
-A minimum of 3 years’ experience working as a commercial / workplace interior designer.
-Proficient using Autocad, Google Sketchup, and Microsoft (experience in using visual / rendering software an advantage).
-You require excellent listening skills, be able to interpret customer requests and turn them into reality, with an attention to detail and working knowledge of the office fitout / interior design industry.
-Display excellent and consistent communication skills, in person, in presentations, at meetings and via all communication channels including phone, e-mail, Teams etc.
-Able to select and apply the right working style for the task – a team player when it is a team task and also able to work independently to successfully complete tasks to an agreed deadline.
-Happy to be adaptable and flexible.
-Understand construction / builder requirements for designs, drawings, plans and documents.
Salary and Benefits
-£32k – £42k FTE (pro-rated down for part-time hours). Dependent on experience.
-20 days holiday, plus bank holidays, rising to 26 days on 3rd year of service (holidays will be pro-rated down if working part-time hours)
-The office closes over the Christmas period, and these holidays are not taken out of the holiday allowance.

Hours and location
-Minimum 3 days per week (or equivalent hours spread across the week) up to full-time.
-This is an office -based role although some home working will be considered. Due to the nature of the role, there will be some travel to client’s premises. Mostly, these are based in London and the home counties.
