A fantastic opportunity has arisen for a Learning & Development specialist to join an international law firm as a Business Partner. This role is responsible for supporting the Head of HR – Learning & Development, in delivering the global learning and development strategy for the firm. The role is varied and will have responsibility or a global internal client group’s learning needs, management of global development programmes and delivery of global learning projects.

The key responsibilities will include:

  • Working closely with the HR Business Partnering team to deliver a true partnership role to the business, supporting the identification of learning needs through consulting and analysis of data and proposing innovative and impactful learning solutions that have a strong business rationale.
  • Be the first point of contact within the learning and development team for a defined global client groups learning needs and proposed solutions.
  • Programme manage global development programmes. Ensuring that the content of programmes remains best in class, meets the evolving development needs of the firm and reflects the latest thinking in learning design.
  • Provide adhoc coaching, guidance and support to supervisors on how to manage learning and career development conversation.

The successful applicant will have gained the following experience:

  • Previous experience in a learning and development partnering or consulting role in a fast paced global organisation.
  • Strong consulting/partnering skills experience in a professional environment.
  • Strong influencing skills and ability to quickly build relationships and demonstrate credibility in a professional environment.
  • Learning programme management experience in a global environment
