We're looking for an enthusiastic marketing executive to join this established hospitality business in a temporary or permanent role. You will be able to demonstrate similar experience in digital and social media marketing. They are a friendly and supportive team, offer lots of flexibility and are situated in a stunning rural location.

The Company

Our client is a stunning 400-acre countryside estate including three multi-award winning boutique hotels. They are now seeking a temporary or permanent individual who will be responsible for the social media, digital marketing and content strategy, and who will continually look for creative ways to promote the hotel brands, thinking outside the box and helping stay ahead of the curve. Through research, innovation, creativity, and fresh ideas.

The Role

They are open to a minimum 3 month temporary contract, or permanent, and would like the successful candidate to start as soon as possible.

The Marketing Executive will report to the Brand & Marketing Manager and will be responsible for social media management and delivering the digital marketing strategy, including promotional marketing campaign, digital advertising, PPC and social media advertising. They will plan, deliver, and monitor the success of digital marketing campaigns closely to measure and monitor and measure their effectiveness. They will have a broad range of tasks and varied responsibilities including managing third party agencies to deliver the marketing plan and strategy whilst delivering a good return on investment.

Key roles and responsibilities

Digital Marketing:

-Work alongside digital marketing agencies to deliver ROI on paid advertising across social media and Google as well as have an active involvement in SEO strategy, key words, image optimisation etc
-Provide briefs for third parties for tactical promotional campaigns and oversee their implementation and effectiveness
-Liaise with agencies to produce monthly report on campaign successes and performance
-CRM and website updates and management including creating new website content, imagery optimisation and content update
-Collaborate and work alongside website agency to continually develop trending and new functionality to improve website/user experience, as well as pro-actively monitor the performance of the website

Social Media:

-Develop and implement social media strategy for the hotels. Managing all platforms including Instagram, Facebook, Twitter, LinkedIn, Instagram. The role will also include launching brands and creating a strategy on TikTok.
-Manage and create content
-Management and scheduling of social media posts using scheduling software
-Keeping track of insights and data and reporting on the performance of social media campaigns

Email and targeted marketing campaigns:

Create, design, and send e-mail marketing campaigns in line with promotional objectives
-Communicate strategically by using targeted segmented customer insights to increase conversion

Database management:
-Manage customer data and ensure that it’s accurate
Use the data for targeted marketing promotions based on customer insights
-Implement initiatives to grow the marketing database with quality leads

Internal Marketing

-Liaise with graphic designers and printers to produce branded collateral
-Planning and coordinating creative professional photography and videography projects
-Support in the organising of any promotional activities and events
-Supporting internal departments with internal marketing requests from brand protection, production of tools and creative ideas to support the day-to-day operations

The Candidate

-Previous experience in digital and social media marketing.
-Strong verbal communication skills for articulating ideas to colleagues and clients
-Excellent written communication skills for producing high quality content
-Attention to detail and accuracy
-The ability to work independently and flexibly
-The capacity to prioritise and work across multiple projects
-The ability to work as part of a team
-Organisational skills with the ability to deliver a high volume of quality work
-Creative skills for contributing new and innovative ideas
-The ability to work well under pressure and meet deadlines
-Knowledge of existing and emerging social media platforms
-Excellent IT skills.

Salary and Benefits
-£27k FTE* (pro-rated down for part-time hours).
-Min 30 hours per week up to full-time. These hours may be worked as 4 full days or spread across 5 days. Standard office hours are 9am-5.30pm with 30 minute lunch, however, as this is a hospitality setting, the client is flexible and is open to individuals working a more flexible working pattern, such as starting earlier (e.g. as early as 8am in order to finish earlier).
-Approximately 50% of your time will be based in the office and 50% remotely. It will be a requirement to spend more time in the office in the first few weeks to become established in the role.
-The client is open to a temporary contract of minimum 3 months or a permanent role. This is an urgent requirement and the client is hoping for a start date mid to end June.
-30 days holiday (this includes Bank Holidays) po-rata. This rises to 35 days after 5 years’ service.
