Our Client

Our client is a global management consulting firm with offices in Berkhamsted and London. Their focus is on Environmental, Social and Governance (ESG) and sustainable business, advising clients to develop and implement long term strategies that deliver long term value for all stakeholders.

The Role

They now have need for an experienced Marketing Manager to join them for a Maternity cover.

You will be an experienced marketer with a passion for sustainability who has excellent writing skills, is a capable project manager and used to juggling lots of moving parts whilst delivering high performing marketing activity to time and to budget.

Reporting to the Head of Insight and Communications, you will work alongside the marketing and sales team delivering on the corporate marketing strategy and growing the international brand. You will possess strong communication skills and have a strong interest in innovative and modern marketing practices. In addition, you will need to possess a high degree of tenacity, have the skills required to deliver an exemplary level of service, as well as the ability to forge strong working partnerships with external agencies, your management team and your colleagues.

Duties & Responsibilities:

Responsible for the day-to-day management of marketing initiatives
Delivery of marketing campaigns and across the firm’s growth priorities and programmes through an integrated multi-channel approach
Monitoring and optimising company sales performance, using best practice marketing mix
Management of the Social Media Assistant
Managing the pipeline of delivery for publications, blogs and case studies
Responsible for ensuring website content is up to date
Accountable for all Event Management to support marketing campaigns
Organise, attend, and support external networking events.

Key skills and knowledge required:

Marketing background essential, with experience of developing and delivering multi-channel campaigns and programmes alongside experience of measuring and analysing data to build a picture of performance and ROI
Excellent communication skills and a great team player
Highly organised individual, strong attention to detail and importantly with proven project management skills
Experience of managing and delivering integrated campaigns (this role would work with in-house creative, content and digital marketing teams and external agencies to execute where appropriate)
You will need to hit the ground running and proven experience is essential to be successful in this role
Good understanding of how to bring creative ideas and the right channel mix together to reach a target audience
Commercially strong, offering insight into how to create lead generating B2B campaigns
Commercial minded with the ability to think laterally
Excellent communication skills – both verbal and written
Excellent research and analytical skills
Excellent verbal and written communication skills with engaging presentation skills
Good knowledge of trends and developments surrounding sustainability and ESG

This is a maternity cover for 10-12 months, min 4 days per week. Based in Berkhamsted ( Hybrid structure).
Salary – up to £50kfte, pro rata and dependent on experience
Holidays – 25 days plus bank holidays (pro rata) and birthday off.

*Full time equivalent – actual salary will depend on final hours agreed.
