Overview

This Hove based independent insurance broker supplies business solutions to the health and social care sectors. They have a strong focus on providing a highly personal service to clients. They have a very supportive culture and provide thorough training for all new joiners.

The Role

This is standalone Marketing Manager role responsible for driving multi-channel marketing campaigns and communications that raise awareness of and drive leads for the main business, as well as raise awareness of the charitable arm. Core responsibilities include:

Strategy development in line with company objectives
Budget management
Content – planning, creation and publication of SEO optimised blog posts. Working with Marketing Coordinator to plan and create infographics, videos and animations
Campaign planning and delivery – digital and offline
Email marketing – newsletters and ad hoc campaigns using MailChimp
SEO – working with our external consultant on an SEO strategy for QCG
Social Media – Overseeing the work of the Marketing support and working together on social media strategy
Website Management – content updates using Webflow, working alongside external digital designer
Sponsorship – working with external agency to deliver PR, events, and manage sponsorship rights for the term of the contract with a football club
Internal Marketing Communications

The person

B2B marketing experience
5+ years of experience in marketing and related roles
A basic understanding of SEO and writing with SEO in mind
Experience of working with external agencies and producing clear briefings
Experience of managing and delivering digital and non-digital campaigns
Experience of using MailChimp
Experience with databases
Experience with online forms for surveys and data capture
Line management experience
Strong planning skills and demonstrable ability to develop and execute communication plans
Impactful copywriting skills and attention to detail to ensure accurate documentation in published
Technical competency with social media communication, web content, multimedia
Ability to use MS Office Suite
Strong team player, with excellent English with strong communications skills.

The company is regulated by the Financial Conduct Authority and as such, applicants will need to have an understanding or be willing to familiarise themselves with marketing best practice within these regulations.

Terms

35 hours per week (open to some reduced hours depending on experience of candidate).
The successful candidate will be required to work in the office for the 6 month probation period but may then work part remotely and part in office each week.
£35k-£40k FTE* (dependent on experience).

*Please note the salary quoted is the Full Time Annual Equivalent for 35 hours per week, and the actual salary will depend on the final hours agreed
