The Role:

We are looking for an enthusiastic, fun & creative Marketing Manager to join our small team of 4 in our fast-growing business based in Esher, Surrey. If you would like to work on an innovative children’s safety brand with fun people in a lovely office, this is the role for you! Love of tea & biscuits essential!

Job Responsibilities:

  • Full annual marketing plan strategy, development & execution.
  • Develop digital content to support the marketing plan – social posts, reels, email marketing, advertising assets, photoshoots, blogs.
  • Digital Marketing Agency Management – working directly with our chosen digital marketing agency to deliver ROI on paid advertising across social media & Google as well as have an active involvement in SEO strategy, key words & image optimisation.
  • Website re-branding project (we are re-designing our brand look & feel with development of brand guidelines).
  • Email Marketing – knowledge of Klaviyo preferable. Strategy, planning & execution. Create, design & send email marketing campaigns in line with the strategy. Communicate strategically by using targeted segmented customer insights to increase conversion.
  • Social Media Management – strategy, content creation & execution across multiple channels – Instagram, Facebook & LinkedIn and developing new channels e.g. TikTok. Management of partner relationships e.g. influencer, brand / charity / PR partnerships. Keeping track of insights & data & reporting on the performance of social media campaigns.
  • Retail / wholesale customer marketing support – working with our key retail customers to develop & execute marketing support plans.

The Candidate:

  • Previous experience in digital and social media marketing.
  • Self-starter, proactive & autonomous.
  • Excellent written & verbal communication skills.
  • Attention to detail & accuracy.
  • Capacity to prioritise and work across multiple projects.
  • Creative skills for contributing new and innovative ideas.
  • Excellent IT skills.
  • Team player – as part of an SME an ‘all hands-on deck’ approach is required.
  • Professional & confident when dealing with retail customers.
  • Excellent organisational skills and the ability to manage own workload.
  • Ability to work with a range of digital tools – Klaviyo, Shopify, Google Analytics, Canva.
  • Be flexible with time to attend offsite meetings, events or photoshoots.

Salary & Benefits

  • Long term role starting at the beginning of September 2024.
  • We can offer 3 or 4 days per week, our minimum requirement is 18 hours per week spread across 3 days x 6 hours per day (10am-4pm on office days). Depending on the candidate & experience, the earnings range would be between £21 – 25k (equivalent to £45-55K FTE).
  • For 4 days per week x 6 hours per day, depending on the candidate & experience, the earnings range would be between £28 – 34k (equivalent to £45-55k FTE).
  • Freelance self-employed role. Invoice for hours worked at the end of each month.
  • As this is a freelance contract, holidays can be taken at your discretion, but advanced notice is required to ensure no overlap with holidays of other team members.
  • Hybrid role – the role is office based in Esher, but we can offer some flexibility on working from home if required.
  • Free Parking at our office in Esher. Our office is 0.9 miles from Esher Train Station, which is approx. a 20-minute walk.
