Context

Pixl8 has a team of over 50 specialists in digital development, design, marketing strategy and project management. We are passionate about our work and looking for an experienced digital marketer with expertise in creating and managing B2B campaigns to tell our story.

You will be joining a growing content team with ambitions to showcase Pixl8s products and services across new formats and channels. Building on our blogs, whitepapers and emails our marketing content will expand in new, captivating and innovative ways.

Data-driven strategic B2B campaigns aimed at current and prospective clients will be at the heart of this. Your results-driven, analytical approach and knowledge of data will drive us and your career to the next level.

This role and salary is offered on the basis of 4 Days ( Circa 32 hours) with flexibility on days worked. Salary £30,000

At the moment we are entirely remote, we would expect that to continue and when normality returns it should be assumed you would be visiting the office no more than twice per week unless related to specific activities you’ve planned.

Requirements

What you’ll be doing

As Marketing manager you will be key to planning and delivering strategic B2B campaigns to inform existing and prospective clients about Pixl8. This will include consistent and intelligent marketing monitoring, data analysis and manipulation, content, digital advertising and liaison with third-party contacts.

You will be working with a part-time Senior Marketing Strategist and will work closely with the Senior Producer and Content Producer and the Sales teams. You will also liaise with the wider team including design and project managers as well as external agencies and partners.

As the role progresses we see the Marketing Manager being able to make informed recommendations, design as well as deliver campaign plans and identify new opportunities.

You will be trained and supported in the role so that your skillset and understanding of the agency and client sectors is further enhanced.

Specific responsibilities include:

Campaign planning…

  • To develop campaign plans for Pixl8’s key products and services across key digital media (email, paid digital advertising and social media)
  • To run regular micro campaigns for niche activity with current data lists and paid advertising
  • To test different approaches to optimise campaign delivery
  • To recommend ways to improve campaign performance and delivery

Email…

  • To set up, test and send out a regular monthly email newsletter and occasional blast activity
  • To set up automated emails (eg. Welcome programmes)
  • To monitor the quality of the email list

Campaign assessment…

  • To produce weekly, monthly and quarterly reports to understand past performance and to enhance future performance using a range of analytics including Google Analytics, Social Media Analytics and by interrogating our CRM.

Data manipulation…

  • To be able to pull together email marketing lists based on key criteria to provide well- targeted campaigns

Website…

  • To set up and monitor website goals and dashboards to monitor Pixl8’s websites
  • To set up bespoke landing pages to enhance conversion
  • To contribute to the strategic development of the Pixl8 websites

Content…

  • To promote content that has been produced by the content specialists and wider teams

While the content team will lead on production, it is important that you will also be able to:

  • Update the website with regular news and promotional items
  • Proofread copy for contributed blogs and content
  • Collate information such as statistics and client quotes
  • Select or take photographs for digital and print channels
  • Brief and work with the design team to produce content and advertising

Third party Liaison…

  • To contribute to the partner-based marketing output so we capitalise on our relationships and sponsorship opportunities
  • To monitor and report each month on Pixl8’s take-up of sponsorship deals
  • To liaise with and provide information and content with our third party contacts
  • To coordinate and set up meetings with third party partners

Print and collateral…

  • To be responsible for the occasional production of print and promotional items to support Pixl8 direct marketing and sales promotion activity

Administrative activity…

  • To check and log all invoices and post them for swift payment

Teamwork…

  • To work with, collaborate and support the wider team in the office and at events as required

Skills and experience required:

Essential…

  • Highly organised
  • Experience of running and reporting of digital marketing campaigns
  • Ability to manage email marketing activity from beginning to end
  • Demonstrable experience of running social media activity (content and/or campaign activity)
  • Experience of using CRM and pulling data lists
  • Experience of working with external partners and suppliers
  • High standard of written English and ability to write copy for a variety of audiences
  • Confident and accurate in producing statistics
  • Experience of using communications to boost awareness, engagement and conversion
  • Strong self-motivation and ability to work unsupervised
  • Aptitude for attention to detail and carrying jobs through to completion

Desirable…

  • Experience of B2B, digital and membership sectors
  • Agency experience
  • Ability to run tests in campaigns and evaluate the performance of them
  • Experience of HTML, Google Analytics and Photoshop or other similar digital media and reporting packages
  • Ability to edit/enhance imagery (eg. via Photoshop)
  • Record and edit film content for micro footage, vlogging and promotional activity

Salary £37,500 FTE (£30,000 for hours equivalent of 4 days p/w)  entirely flexible based in Clapham SW London, fully remote at present and likely to be largely remote going forward.
