This values driven employee-owned business is looking for an Office Administrator to join their busy team. This is a varied role, offering flexibility and hybrid working for someone who has previous office based experience.

The Client

Our client is a social and economic research, analysis, and evaluation consultancy. They work with a wide range of organisations in the public, private and voluntary sectors, with small community groups, and across all levels of government in the UK. The Role

Working closely alongside the Operations Manager and Back Office team, the office administrator must be able to work in a fast-paced office environment and be able to work reactively, carrying out set tasks, as well as being proactive with the ability to multi-task and to be able to work towards deadlines. The successful candidate will support or lead on a variety of different tasks as business needs require. Although not an exhaustive list, this can include:

Formatting and proofing of documents / reports and tenders
Tender support and submission
Booking meetings / telephone interviews / focus groups / Street interviews / case study visits
Arranging translations or proofing of documents / reports / tenders
Booking hotels / car hire / venues
Update company website
Ordering stationery and IT equipment
Administrating recruitment for consultants / interns
Supporting processes involved around company accreditations
General administrative day-to-day duties
Undertake telephone interviews Please note appropriate training is provided

The Candidate

Demonstrates the ability to work effectively as an individual and also as part of a team
Demonstrate an ability to work under pressure and to deadlines, to prioritise tasks and to multi-task
Have excellent written and communication skills
Previous experience in an office setting
Proficient in using Microsoft Office package – particularly MS Word and MS Excel
Is a Welsh speaker (desirable)
Professional qualifications in any discipline that includes numeracy and writing skills (desirable)
If you have any academic or voluntary experience (desirable)

The Terms

Salary £20,500 FTE*
Permanent. Hybrid working partly in the office in Aberaeron (approx. 60% office based and 40% home based). This will be office based for the probation period.
Minimum 20 hours per week up to 35 hours per week (full-time). Please indicate your preferred hours and pattern of work on application.
You will be required to undertake an enhanced DBS check for this position which the company will pay for
25 Days plus Bank Holidays (pro-rated for part-time hours). There will be an additional day’s annual leave for every 2 calendar years of continuous service, up to a maximum of 5 additional days leave. Option to sell back up to 5 days p.a. of unused holiday.
