We’re looking for a friendly, experienced, and detail-loving Accountant to join our friendly, supportive finance team. This role is perfect for someone looking for exciting work who wants meaningful, hands-on experience without sacrificing life.
You’ll be working closely with our Head of Finance, helping with everything from reconciliations and payroll to making financial reports that people actually understand. You won’t just sit on the sidelines—we’ll give you real responsibility, mentorship, and room to grow at your own pace.
What You’ll Be Doing
- Bookkeeping
- Month-end reconciliations (banks, suppliers, payroll, etc.)
- Processing expenses and assisting with payroll
- Keeping finance records clean, accurate, and up to date
- Helping create reports and sharing insights across the team
- Answering day-to-day finance questions (we’ll support you every step of the way)
- Getting involved with spend approvals and cost control habits
- Learning something new each week—and sharing your ideas, too
- Comfortable using Excel or Google Sheets (formulas don’t faze you)
- You’re keen to learn and grow, ask questions, and try new things
- Friendly, reliable, and happy multitasking in a calm, supportive environment
- Bonus: you’ve used Xero before (but if not, we’ll teach you)

Location: London (remote-first – ideally Mondays at Old Sessions House)
Working Hours: 20 hours per week (flexible schedule that works around your life)
Salary: £16,000–£21,000 per year (based on £32,000–£42,000 FTE)
Reports to: Head of Finance
