Our client is an innovative marketing agency that provides marketing services for their clients. Within their suite of services they have a ‘best-in-class’ telemarketing department that carry out a wide range of telemarketing activities.
They are currently looking to recruit a new business-to-business telemarketing executive to join their existing, friendly team.
The main purpose of the role is to carry out telemarketing/telesales activity on behalf of clients in a timely and professional manner to ensure the ethos of ‘maximum energy – optimum results’ is sustained. Primary tasks include:
Meeting with clients to be briefed on campaigns.
Participation in creation of briefing documents for clients which will detail the brief, pull out the salient selling points and form the basis of a loose script for use by the telemarketers
Holding strategic business conversations with director level personnel within medium/large corporates to support client’s marketing campaigns.
Making sales appointments for client’s sales force.
Following up invitations to events/confirming attendance at events to ensure maximum attendance.
Carrying out surveys/questionnaires over the telephone.
Data cleaning and data entry where a client is list building prior to marketing campaigns.
Regular and complete recording of all calls and results. A key element of the role will be attention to detail and effective recording when updating data.
Daily and weekly progress reporting to ensure client’s objectives for campaign are being met.
Feeding results back to clients when required.
You’ll be a professional, positive individual, ideally with customer focussed experience. You’ll be confident, flexible with a ‘roll your sleeves up’ approach. You’ll love working in a team and have excellent written and spoken communication skills. Key skills:
Previous telemarketing/telesales experience is desirable
Excellent telephone manner
Resilience and persistency
Fluent English verbal and written skills
PC literacy, inc experience in Microsoft Word and Excel
Good experience on web and use of web search engines
Experience of a variety of databases & CRM systems, especially Salesforce, an advantage (not essential)
Knowledge of sales process an advantage (not essential)
Attention to detail and results oriented
This role is a permanent part-time position seeking a minimum of 20 hrs/wk (more hours will be considered). The hours can be worked in a pattern agreed with the successful candidate. A salary of up to £26k fte* (pro-rated for hours worked) is on offer depending on experience together with an incentive for generating appointments. The role is based in the company’s offices in Hemel Hempstead with parking available.
*Full time equivalent – actual salary will depend on final hours agreed.
