Our Client

Our established client has been successfully operating in the Central London property market for over 25 years. They pride themselves in delivering outstanding expertise, service and support within the property market, building productive long-standing relationships with their clients. They strive to create a diverse and inclusive workplace where the whole team feels respected and that their voices are heard. Following the COVID lockdown have adopted a remote working structure whilst maintaining their London office for team collaboration, events and client meetings.

The Role

The company is adapting their recruitment strategy by creating an in-house recruitment and resourcing role to manage, organise all recruitment across the company, creating new direct channels alongside agency relationships and implementing a new 360-recruitment process from building and maintaining a candidate database and placing adverts through to conducting initial interviews and onboarding new colleagues.

Reporting to the Managing Director, responsibilities will include:

• Creating a central in-house recruitment process including the development of a candidate database, establishment of preferred job board channels and end to end recruitment processes
• Sourcing, attracting and processing sufficient applications to meet recruitment volume and candidate quality goals using a variety of methods to include job boards, social media, direct contact with potential candidates and the company website;
• Liaise with and support hiring managers throughout the recruitment process, managing the screening process and conducting in initial interviews
• Onboarding of new colleagues to include issuing contracts of employment, obtaining references and documentation, and induction programme

The Candidate

In a sector where there is a limited pool of qualified people, the Recruitment Resourcer will need tenacity and creativity to secure high quality people that have the expertise and values the company and its clients require. Experience and qualities required include:

• Experience of recruiting both (accredited) professional and administrative-level people in a recruitment agency or an in-house recruitment environment;
• Experience of using job boards and LinkedIn to source candidates;
• The confidence to directly contact potential candidates, representing the company and reflecting it’s values (creating relationships for potential future roles if no short term opportunity exists);
• Strong organisational and prioritisation skills including strong administration and time management skills and keen attention to detail;
• Ability to create positive and constructive relationships with colleagues, essential in a busy medium-sized business; and
• Good MS Office and CRM/database experience

The Terms

This new position is being offered on a three day a week basis. The role is home-based with occasional meetings or working days in the central London office. A salary of up to £45K FTE* is available.
