Successful Mums Career Academy is an award-winning training organisation supporting women, particularly mums, to return to work, change careers or start a business.

We are looking for a part-time Marketing Lead to help bring our marketing plans to life and ensure our courses, events and success stories reach the mums who need them most.

This is a hands-on, people-focused role, ideal for someone who enjoys variety, collaboration and making a real impact. You’ll work closely with our Founder and Digital Marketer to deliver our 2026 marketing plan, coordinate activity across channels and build strong relationships with partners and employers. While the strategy is already in place, you’ll play a key role in making sure everything runs smoothly and delivers results.

The Role

Role Overview
As Marketing Lead, you’ll support the delivery of our already written 2026 marketing plan, working alongside our founder and Digital Marketer to make sure everything runs smoothly.
You’ll collaborate across our team to gather inspiring success stories from our mums and showcase the real impact of our work. Using our simple yet effective blueprint for engaging with
mums and partners, you’ll play a key role in driving sign-ups to our courses and events. You’ll co support the delivery of our marketing plan, ensuring strong promotion across all channels
and helping us meet our learner and engagement targets. You’ll be creative organised, and confident to work across the team and with our external partners. We may be a small
organisation, but we’re making a big impact, and we’d love you to be part of it. This is a hybrid role, with weekly meetings in Bromley, South London, and occasional in-person meetings and
events.

Applicants will need to be able to travel to Bromley as part of the role.

Key Responsibilities
Marketing Co-ordination

  • Work closely with the Founder to implement the already written 2026 marketing plan.
  • Collaborate with the wider team to identify courses that need to be fully booked and plan marketing.
  • Engage proactively with referral partners online, in person, and by phone to promote courses and maximise attendance.
  • Coordinate with the Digital Marketer to produce content aligned with the marketing schedule, courses, and events.
  • Identify and respond to online engagement, highlighting how our funded courses and career advice can help.
  • Support the development and delivery of marketing campaigns, analyse results,and identify opportunities for improvement.
  • Lead the weekly marketing meeting, track actions and ensure clear communication across the team.
  • Work with the operations team to track lead sources, evaluate results, and inform ongoing improvements.
  • Coordinate and support in-person and online events in line with our event schedule, ensuring logistics, materials, communications, and venue setup run smoothly
  • Use and update our blueprint checklist to ensure our course and event numbers are met.
  • Work with the team to gather case studies, learner of the month and other content to celebrate our mum achievements.
  • Identify opportunities for partnerships to expand reach and impact including councils, employers and individuals that support women and mothers.
  • Represent Successful Mums at selected events, workshops, and career fairs.

Partner Engagement

  • Build and maintain strong working relationships with key partners such as employers and referral partners.
  • Keeping partners updated on our courses, events, and sponsorship opportunities through emails and phone calls.
  • Confidently represent Successful Mums with external stakeholders, including employers, job centres, housing associations and funders maintaining professionalism and enthusiasm

Skills & Experience- Essential

  • Strong organisational skills and attention to detail for seamless event execution
  • Using Eventbrite or equivalent platform to administrate engaging events
  • 3 years’ experience in events, marketing, PR or social media
  • Understanding social media platforms and creating reels from photos and videos
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills
  • Confident engaging with employers, referral partners, and stakeholders on the phone and in person

Skills & Experience- Desirable

  • Business Development or recruitment
  • Working in an educational, not for profit or small organisation

Hours: Part-time / flexible 30 hours a week Monday to Friday

Pay: 30k plus benefits including longer term being part of the Employee Ownership Trust (EOT)
