Are you an experienced lawyer who stepped away from a career in private practice? Perhaps you took a complete break, worked in-house or perhaps went freelance. Do you find yourself considering a return, motivated by the desire to get your career back on track, the opportunity for further personal development and, frankly, doing more rewarding work?
The Reignite Academy is a flexible, development-focused programme that helps City trained lawyers return to careers in private practice. You will join one of our member firms for a six month period of paid training, coaching and work experience in your particular area of expertise. Part time and/or flexible working is considered for most of our roles.

What support is on offer?
The programme is designed to be a supportive way for you to return to your career. Support is available at each step of the way. First interviews include guidance and coaching on career plans and ensuring your CV best represents you. Upon offer with a member firm you will be supported with pre-commencement training, and a further 3 personal one-to-one coaching sessions over the next 6 months. In addition you will be part of a cohort of people who are all in similar career stages to yourself, providing you with a great support network.

Our doors are open to people who have taken a complete break as well as those who are working but are under-employed or in roles where they are working below their potential. You need not have trained in one of the member firms.
