Our client compiles a widely acclaimed Rankings Guide offering unrivalled real-time and historic data for their clients in the financial adviser market. They are looking to appoint a client relations and research manager for their small but growing team. This is a varied role, for an individual who has good research or insights background but is happy to turn their hand to many tasks, as is common in a small business.
Aid in the production and design of two quarterly publications.
Proof-reading of PDF’s prior to publication and checking the accuracy of the data.
Full support to the publisher, from correspondence to preparation for client meetings.
Writing and circulating press releases for two Rankings Guides.
Managing relationships with press contacts and undertaking media monitoring.
Twitter and social media postings to build on the number of followers.
Invoicing and maintaining the invoicing database using a simple accounts system.
Research and inputting data from press releases and other stock market material.
The Research/Insights Manager role requires excellent organisation and communication skills. You will demonstrate self-motivation and be a highly accurate finisher/completer. Other skills and qualities are likely to include:
Proficient with Microsoft Office, especially a good knowledge and experience of Excel.
Desktop publishing skills, and in particular, Adobe InDesign.
Experience in administration skills with an excellent eye for detail.
A strong understanding of the Internet as a business tool; especially of financial data and corporate websites would be useful.
Excellent written and spoken English, and the ability to develop and communicate innovative ideas with a commercial focus.
Hours: min 30 hours per week, up to full time (37.5).If working 30 hours, these should be spread across Monday-Friday.
Mostly, this is a remote working role, with occasional meetings in Sevenoaks. Please note, there will be a requirement to be based in the office in the first two weeks to undergo training.
20 days holiday plus Bank holidays (pro-rated for part-time hours).
Salary up to £30,000 FTE* (dependent on experience).
*full time equivalent – actual salary will depend on hours worked.
