Our client is a boutique media company specialising in print, digital media and events for over 15 years’. They have fantastic B2B brands with captive and targeted audiences in their respective sectors. They are looking for individuals who are competitive and hungry to support sales, through client support, client sourcing and supporting the sales team. Someone who is outgoing, driven, organised and confident, who can make a positive difference to their clients’ revenue generation.

The Role
As Sales Support Exec, you will be working across a portfolio of market leading events, magazines and digital platforms, supporting our clients media sales professionals to take our clients already successful titles to the next level.

You will be supporting the sales managers to sell across a range of mediums offering clients an integrated cross platform marketing solution, so it's important that you are keen to learn and interested in marketing and advertising solutions – they do more than sell a space on a page!

To manage responsibilities such as:
•Process incoming sales leads
•Manage New Business prospect list
•Outbound telesales calls and emails
•Conduct Competitor Analysis
•Appointment booking and contact updates
•Send media information
•Liaise with PR leads
•Promote the company brands to existing and prospective clients
•Co-ordinate with internal teams regarding production, campaign optimisation and problem-solving
•Develop and maintain an understanding of the marketplace, including ongoing analysis of competitor activity
•Enhance the brand’s reputation and maximise sales opportunities by maintaining regular contact with clients
•Use the CRM to maintain an accurate record of sales, prospects and leads

The Candidate
You will be happy to work individually or as part of a team, have a high level of verbal and written communication, effective under tight deadlines and happy to work across several projects at one time. You will also be strong with Microsoft Office applications and happy to use CRM systems. You will be able to communicate confidently – you’ll be expected to talk to clients and internal team, write reports and analysis, especially relating to client opportunities and forecasting sales.

The Terms
This excellent role is being offered on a Part-time or Full time basis with the client happy to consider happy to consider 3 or 4 day week (or equiv) or other flexible working options. An annual salary of £18,000-£25,000 basic – dependent on skills and experience plus a year end bonus, pension, fun & vibrant working environment and 20 days holiday plus bank holidays plus 3 days additional Christmas leave (FTE). Based in our client's Hackney offices at least two days per week, hybrid working arrangements are available.

*Full time equivalent – actual salary will depend on final hours agreed.
