Are you an experienced marketer with a positive and proactive approach, and who loves to get involved in the day-to-day marketing delivery? This is a newly created role in a growing engineering business, offering part-time hours.

As they expand, they are actively seeking a Senior Marketing Executive to play a pivotal role in accelerating their brand's growth and generating high-quality leads across various channels and initiatives. This is an office-based role and flexible working with home working is provided as an option to support the employee’s needs.

The Role

In this role, you will have the opportunity to make a significant impact across the business. Working closely with the dedicated sales and products team, you will play a vital role in building the company's brand, generating leads, and promoting products and services in the competitive technology landscape.

You will have a proven experience of marketing technical products and will bring a passion for technology and the ability to understand and communicate the key benefits of technical products. Using your initiative, you will conduct market research and apply this to your daily activities to generate leads through various channels, including LinkedIn, the website and through email campaigns. You will engage our customers through the use of technical and accurate content and copy

-Campaign Management: Manage a variety of end-to-end marketing campaigns for lead generation. Contribute to planning, segmentation, and delivery.
-Plan and Implement Social Media Campaigns: Create engaging content and monitor interactions. Analyze social media performance and adapt strategies.
-Content Creation and Management: Generate technical content for various channels. Maintain brand consistency and messaging.
-Website Management: Update the company website with the latest information. Enhance user experience and optimize for SEO.
-Email Marketing: Plan and execute email marketing campaigns. Monitor email campaign performance and adjust strategies.
-Market Research: Conduct research to identify trends and customer needs. Provide data-driven recommendations.
-Event Support: Assist in planning and logistics for trade shows and exhibitions. Collaborate with the sales team for event materials and presentations. Represent our company at events.

Responsibilities (additional)

-Contribute to the Company Marketing strategy and plan
-Track the marketing spend and report on ROI
-Liaise and build relationships with internal and external stakeholders, including senior management and
-Contribute to the strategic process/thinking, suggesting new service offerings improvements etc

The Person

You’ll be a well-rounded marketer with an ability to self-motivate. You’ll ideally have the following skills or experience;

-Proven experience in marketing with a focus on digital marketing, content creation, and event support.
-Strong technical writing and communication skills.
-Proficiency in relevant tools and platforms.
-Have a passion for technology and staying up to date on industry trends.

Desirable skills and attributes (but not essential)

-Photoshop and InDesign or equivalent experience
-Previous experience marketing industrial or engineering based products
-Website creation and management experience, including use of WordPress and/or HTML


-Hours; 25-32 hours per week, either worked as 3 full days or the hours spread across the week.
-Team meetings are held on Monday, Wednesday and Friday morning and it would be advantageous for the successful candidate to be able to attend some of these.
-The role is offering hybrid working.
-The actual salary offered will be dependent on experience, and is offered between £25k to £28k (this is for the reduced hours).
-Holiday allowance: 24 days holiday (3 of which will be taken between Christmas and New Year) plus Bank holidays. There will be an additional day per year after 4 years, 2 more after 8 years. -Holiday allowance will be pro-rated down relative to the part-time hours agreed.
-Pension provided by Royal London (employer pays 3% / employee 5%).
