We invite you to bring your experience and passion for writing for digital content and applying digital best practice to website, social media and email content, planning and running social media campaigns, and handling the associated analytics. In this 13-month maternity cover position, we are seeking someone to help continue our work in delivering high impact content and client outreach and support our local UK transition as our Group organisation migrates to a new website.

To succeed in this role, you must have experience of supporting website management, ideally including experience of operational website migration, and have proven expertise in managing and writing content for digital channels that builds brand, strengthens client engagement and talent attraction.

This role will be London based with hybrid working available – although currently all staff are remote working.

You will join our UK Marketing & Communications department

As our Website and Social Media Manager you will be part of our well-regarded and highly valued team working for a very flexible, inclusive, and responsible company. You will help continue the transformation of our digital marketing activities to support the delivery of our strategic growth ambitions. You would be joining an enthusiastic, supportive and proactive UK team, and enjoy strong collaboration with marketing specialists in the global head office in Copenhagen, as well as with other specialists around the world. The team works flexibly from Ramboll’s modern UK head office in Southwark, close to the lively Bankside area. You can be based anywhere in the UK, but encourage 1-2 days in the London office per week to support your own development and facilitate collaboration and creativity.

Your key tasks and responsibilities will be:

·      Managing and continuing to develop our digital marketing to the next level, specifically on social media (organic and paid including account based marketing) and email marketing.

·       Keeping the target audience and business objectives front and centre in all activities, and focus on a test and learn approach.

·       Support our Group organisation in planning and implementing the UK migration of our global website

·       Helping to support the delivery of integrated multi-channel campaigns

·       Managing webinars – including promotion, technical support, and analytical review

·       Working with teams across the business to develop clear content and associated materials to support our client outreach

·       Provide support in managing a diverse range of other marketing and communication activities, from news and award submissions, to events and online content

·       Gathering and analysing insights from digital activities to help shape future outreach

.        Staying at the forefront of the latest digital marketing approaches that ensure we continue to deliver effective outreach.

For this role, we believe your starting point is:

·       Strong interest in digital marketing, with particular focus on social media engagement (notably LinkedIn, Twitter and Instagram) and experience of running paid-for social media campaigns

·       Proven experience of website management and understanding of user experience

·       Experience in using common marketing technology platforms including content management systems, email systems (such as HubSpot), marketing automation solutions, CRM (such as Microsoft Dynamics), GoToWebinar etc would be advantageous

·       Experience in using digital marketing analytics and insights gathered from various platforms to shape future activity and content

·       Proven experience in clearly conveying complex messages and creating compelling and engaging content for use across varying channels

Personal qualities that will help you succeed in this role include: being proactive, enthusiastic and persuasive, with the ability to simultaneously manage multiple projects. Being a committed team player prepared to roll up their sleeves and get stuck in. Being comfortable with both independently taking ownership of an activity from concept to detailed delivery and working in a highly collaborative way with others on shared projects.
