An exciting opportunity has arisen within an NW London-based Property Company as a property and facilities manager. This is a key role within an established company, combining elements of surveyor, as well as strong property facilities management, covering the full spectrum of works from general portfolio to managing co-working space.
We are looking for an experienced candidate who can be both creative with management solutions yet be flexible in the delivery of solving day-to-day property management functions. The ideal candidate could be looking to semi-retire from a full-time multi-disciplinary role within a property company/ Surveying Practice who could bring their skills and experience into Flexi hours of working. A person who will be able to take ownership of their task and perform for the upgradation of the company.
Key Responsibilities
- Manage all aspects of assigned properties
- Inspect and arrange maintenance to meet standards and be compliant with H&S
- Maintain and update the Company’s ERP in use for property and asset management, ensuring data accuracy and timely updates as and where required.
- Maintain a positive, productive relationship with tenants
- Work with the accounts team on all Collectables/receivables
- Develop and manage annual budgets by forecasting requirements and analysing variances, data, and trends
- Oversee properties’ personnel and assess their performance
- Accomplish financial goals and report periodically on financial performance.
- Producing reports, brochures, promotional information, and other written material
- Traveling to properties for inspection purposes, tenant visits, and conducting viewings. Basically, the whole charge of the property.

Experience and Requirements
- Proven work experience as a property manager
- Fully understanding property management and its financial aspects
- In-depth knowledge of rules and regulations surrounding property management
- Competency in MS Office and relevant databases and software
- Interpersonal savvy with strong communication and presentation skills
- Well organized with excellent time management skills
- Ability to develop strong relationships with colleagues and negotiate consensus effectively.
- Strong team player, with the ability to collaborate and communicate with senior managers and other influential stakeholders.
- Resourceful – ability to solve complex problems.
- Ability to handle risk, uncertainty, and changing direction
Qualifications
- Master’s or Bachelors in Property Management
- A full clean driving license
