An exciting opportunity has arisen within an NW London-based Property Company as a property and facilities manager. This is a key role within an established company, combining elements of surveyor, as well as strong property facilities management, covering the full spectrum of works from general portfolio to managing co-working space.

We are looking for an experienced candidate who can be both creative with management solutions yet be flexible in the delivery of solving day-to-day property management functions. The ideal candidate could be looking to semi-retire from a full-time multi-disciplinary role within a property company/ Surveying Practice who could bring their skills and experience into Flexi hours of working. A person who will be able to take ownership of their task and perform for the upgradation of the company.

Key Responsibilities 

  • Manage all aspects of assigned properties
  • Inspect and arrange maintenance to meet standards and be compliant with H&S
  • Maintain and update the Company’s ERP in use for property and asset management, ensuring data accuracy and timely updates as and where required.
  • Maintain a positive, productive relationship with tenants
  • Work with the accounts team on all Collectables/receivables
  • Develop and manage annual budgets by forecasting requirements and analysing variances, data, and trends
  • Oversee properties’ personnel and assess their performance
  • Accomplish financial goals and report periodically on financial performance.
  • Producing reports, brochures, promotional information, and other written material
  • Traveling to properties for inspection purposes, tenant visits, and conducting viewings. Basically, the whole charge of the property.
  • Maintain up-to-date job and market knowledge

Experience and Requirements 

  • Proven work experience as a property manager
  • Fully understanding property management and its financial aspects
  • In-depth knowledge of rules and regulations surrounding property management
  • Competency in MS Office and relevant databases and software
  • Interpersonal savvy with strong communication and presentation skills
  • Well organized with excellent time management skills
  • Ability to develop strong relationships with colleagues and negotiate consensus effectively.
  • Strong team player, with the ability to collaborate and communicate with senior managers and other influential stakeholders.
  • Resourceful – ability to solve complex problems.
  • Ability to handle risk, uncertainty, and changing direction

Qualifications 

  • Master’s or Bachelors in Property Management
  • A full clean driving license

Knowledge/ Skills 

  • In-depth knowledge of the property and real estate market
  • Strong negotiation and organizational skills
  • Proficient in MS Office and other relevant tools
  • Excellent communication and financial knowledge
  • Team player, able to work independently
