Role Overview
Annemount Nursery & Pre-Prep School is seeking a creative and strategic Digital Marketing Expert to increase enrolment enquiries, strengthen our online presence, and amplify positive word-of-mouth among prospective families.
This role is ideal for a results-driven marketer who combines commercial thinking with sensitivity to early years education. You will plan, execute, and optimise digital activity that clearly communicates the warmth, excellence, and community spirit of our school – while ensuring all content is age-appropriate, safeguarding-compliant, and aligned with our values.
Ideally, you will have experience working with schools or within the education sector, with a strong understanding of the motivations and decision-making process of parents choosing a pre-prep school.

Key Responsibilities

Digital Strategy & Campaigns

  • Develop and implement a focused digital marketing strategy aligned with the school’s vision and admissions goals.

  • Plan and manage online campaigns promoting enrolment, school tours, open days, events, and key achievements.

  • Monitor performance and continuously refine activity to maximise reach, engagement, and enquiry quality.

Website & SEO

  • Review and refresh the school website to ensure content is accurate, engaging, and parent-focused.

  • Optimise structure and content for SEO to improve search visibility.

  • Analyse website traffic and user behaviour to improve enquiry and tour-booking conversions.

Social Media Management

  • Create, schedule, and manage content across Instagram, Facebook, and LinkedIn.

  • Ensure all content is age-appropriate, safeguarding-compliant, and on-brand.

  • Engage positively with parents and the wider community through timely, professional interactions.

  • Work with staff to capture authentic stories, testimonials, and classroom highlights.

  • Maintain a consistent brand voice and visual identity across all digital channels.

Email & CRM Marketing

  • Design and manage email marketing campaigns for prospective and current parents.

  • Support admissions communications linked to tours, events, and enrolment deadlines.

  • Track open rates, click-through rates, and enquiry conversions.

Analytics & Reporting

  • Use analytics tools to track performance across all digital channels.

  • Prepare concise reports on KPIs including engagement, website traffic, tour enquiries, and conversions.

  • Provide clear insights and practical recommendations to senior leadership.

Practical Details

Work Pattern:
Freelance / part-time. Approximately 1 day per week initially, moving to c.5 hours per week after setup, with scope for review as needs evolve.

Location:
Remote or hybrid. Ideally, the successful candidate will spend some initial time on-site in North London (Hampstead Garden Suburb).

Day Rate:
£300–£400 per day (dependent on experience)
