We’re looking for a confident and proactive Marketing Project Manager to work as part of a senior team managing the successful delivery of high impact projects.

You must be process driven and motivated by continuously delivering excellence, with meticulous attention to detail. You must be able to work under pressure, with the ability to manage multiple deadlines and stakeholders, whilst remaining positive, calm and in control.

Location: Work from home, with occasional travel to client meetings

What you’ll be doing
You’ll be working as part of a senior project team at Blue Feathers, managing the successful delivery of high impact projects across customer-centric strategy, proposition development and capability building. Working in close partnership with the Project Lead, you will confidently and proactively manage complex projects, which typically run from three to six months. You’ll be part of a high performing, supportive, and enthusiastic team, who care about helping others and are passionate about delivering to extremely high standards.

The type of person we’re looking for

We need you to have strong organisational skills:

01 Plan and set up a project
At kick-off, take direction from Project Lead of what needs to be done to deliver the project, and turn it into a clear, feasible plan for the project team to follow.

02 Track and manage a project
Have a good understanding of all project activities and interdependencies, both internal and client based. Provide an up-to-date, clear and simple overview on a regular basis, flagging key points that affect the project and removing any ambiguity.
Supporting the BF team in continued and efficient progress throughout.

03 Adapt and flex a project
Anticipate potential issues with progress, resource, and budget, both internal and client based. Take ownership and work to proactively mitigate issues before they arise. At times when project plans need to change, proactively plan out what’s needed and when.

04 Deliver workshop support
For online and face-to-face workshops, plan and manage all logistics and other surrounding support e.g. online whiteboard and breakout group preparation, to ensure BF team and our partners can focus on delivery, pre-empting issues in advance to ensure smooth delivery on the day.

05 Close a project
Upon completion of client deliverables, drive and guide the team through a thorough and efficient wrap up of the project.

And we need you to have a high level of practical skills:

Proactive, helpful and friendly communication
Provide proactive, useful and appropriate comms with BF team, suppliers and clients. Written and verbal. This includes status updates and ad hoc client comms.

Efficient and proactive delivery
Timely delivery of tasks, whilst understanding the dependencies and joining the dots between different things that need to happen to move forward proactively, Pre-emptive management of own PM tasks, those that need input from the Project lead and tasks involving the client.

Project and team administration
Smooth and proactive management of meeting bookings, agendas, notes and meeting actions, travel bookings, management of expenses, technical set up and files. Plus, liaison with business ops on team hours and invoice milestones.

Supplier management
Smooth coordination of all suppliers to ensure they are aligned to project needs and are equipped with all they need to deliver what’s needed and have a positive experience with Blue Feathers.

High quality standards
Deliver to an extremely high standard and holds everyone to the same. High attention to detail across all aspects of work.

We’re looking for someone who has experience in:

  • Project management: 2+ years managing large marketing projects. Strong understanding of project management methodologies. PM qualifications not essential but preferred.
  • Marketing agency environment: Good understanding of marketing principles, strategy, brand and proposition development, ideally with experience working in a marketing agency.
  • Working at pace: Successful and proactive delivery of multiple simultaneous projects. Ability to work under pressure and meet tight deadlines.
  • Dedication and motivation : If you lack the experience noted above, we are open to candidates who demonstrate a passion and commitment to build a career in project management.
